This next contest is for all you creative types out there. We are building the new book site and I got the first look at how it is going to operate! It is very exciting. The new site will go live in the next 3 or 4 weeks. This contest will chose 2 winners on March 29th so get out those art supplies and start up the graphic program
While that is happening along side the release of www.podioracket.com. This is a new project for myself and the author of Fractured Horizon, H.E. Roulo , (You can call her Heather) Our first podcast will be going live this week. So tune in to hear us making a racket about the new releases on www.Podiobook.com. You will also get tips and tricks from experience authors and news, contest info and a lot more. These are short podcasts we are doing our best to keep them under 15 minutes no longer than 20 minutes.
Contest 6 Drum Roll Please…..
I invite my readers and listeners to design a T-shirt for this contest. The best design for Woman’s and Men’s designs will go into our new gift shop on the new site and we will promote the artist that designed it on our site! Here is how it will work. Since we will be using www.Zazzle.com for our gift shop you must meet the criteria for www.Zazzle.com below you will find the Image requirements and the styles of shirts they have available.
One Entry per person, please. Email your design concept with the image and kind of T-shirt you think it should go on to info@themarkofadruid.com. Make sure that you include your contact info and the website you want to promote and the size so you can wear your creation. By entering this contest you give www.themarkofadruid.com and Rhonda R Carpenter the right to include your design in the gift shop for sale.
Zazzle.com supports JPEG, PNG, GIF, or TIFF files.
T-shirts are created at a minimum of 150 ppi (pixels per inch).
To fill the full area, we recommend that you use images that are equal to or larger than the recommended sizes below. For images smaller than these sizes, you should not fill the full area, but will have additional “white space”
Pocket (4″ x 4″) = 600 x 600 pixels
Horizontal (14″ x 12″) = 2100 x 1800 pixels
Vertical (12″ x 14″) = 1800 x 2100 pixels
If your image is bigger than these sizes, it’ll turn out even better since it will be printed at an even higher resolution than the minimum
The Winners (one for best woman’s and one for best man’s T-shirt) will receive one of their creations and will be featured on the new site as the designer. This is a great opportunity for all of the artist out there to get involved and promote their work! “Make sure that you own the rights to all images used in the design.” Restrictions: You must have an original design, don’t use the cover art from the book. But you can certainly use the ideas and colors from the book cover if you like. Be creative and make it related to the story. As always have fun with this contest.
