We just did this you say? Well, I am a live and learn kind of chick. I had a site built and it was simply way too much work for me to keep up with. I also had several complaints about the site being hard to navigate. So we have migrated all of the users to this new site. Yes, it is wordpress and much easier to navigate. If you were already signed up for the old site your user name and password will work here. If there are any issues logging in, please leave a comment and let me know or start a new account. If you are new to the site then please sign up.  If you where referred to the site by a friend please leave a comment telling me so and I will add your name to the drawing. If you are already signed up, you can still win. Just refer a friend and tell them to be sure to comment and give your user name.

So what has changed? Primarily how the site is laid out and a few of the back end functions. I will no longer have your mailing addresses for contest prize delivery. I will announce the winners and shoot them an email to get the snail mail addresses. The blog will now be on the front page and you will not have to looking for them. The RSS feed is set up and working.

On the left margin you will see the nav bar listed in this order:

Home: Is the main page of the site. The blog and calendar are located there along with Authors I am enjoying.

Contest: This is where you can see and participate in the latest contest and there is a sub-page for the basic rules.

Podcast: This is where you can listen to the full book in audio form. Also included is a chapter by chapter synopsis and a sub-page for where the sound effect and theme music came from.

Promos:  This is were you can find all of the promos and additional audio for The Mark of a Druid Trilogy. You will also find the trailers and snag the promo banners and all free for the taking.

Press Room: Here you will find the Author’s Press Kit in full and as a downloadable PDF. All of the author’s contact information is there as well.

Meet the Characters: This section of the site is bursting at the seams. Each character has a sub-page and you can comment to each character. I invite you to have some fun, ask them questions and they will answer you.

Contact Us:  This is a list of ways to contact the author including Twitter, Facebook and many more.

Book Plates:  Do you have a print version you would like signed? This is where you can find out how to get a book plate.

Buy Now:  This page will show you everywhere the book is available including the just released digital formats.

Book Two:  When Ethers Descend will be coming on in 2010 and right now you can get the prologue in audio form and in a pdf.

Gift Shop: Do you think the artwork for the cover rocks? So do we. So we have set up a gift shop for those who want The Mark of a Druid schwag. There is no profit margin on the items to speak of. We make less than the cost of a beer or a cup of coffee and we aren’t talking a latte. The artwork is available in reproduction forms and there are tee shirts, mouse pads, cups and lots of other gear. 

Cover Artist:  This is where you can find out about the artist and get to her webpage and check out all of her work. She is fabulous and she also has a gift shop.
